MusiCares ® Honors James Taylor as the 2006 Person of the Year During The 48th Annual Grammy® Week

WHAT: Jewels and Pinstripes is creating gift bags for the Presenters, Performers and VIPs at the 16th Annual MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute.

James Taylor, chosen for his professional accomplishments as well as his commitment to various philanthropic efforts, will receive the honor at a gala tribute dinner, concert and silent auction held Monday, Feb. 6, 2006. The MusiCares tribute dinner is one of the most prestigious events held during GRAMMY Week, a celebration that culminates with the 48th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 8, 2006. EVENT DETAILS: The event is one of the most celebrated charity events in the music industry, the MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute. The event will pay tribute to the music, humanitarian efforts and philanthropic generosity of legendary singer/songwriter and guitarist James Taylor. The event draws close to 2,000 key executives and celebrities in the music and entertainment world and features a reception, silent auction, dinner and all-star tribute concert.
